The Position:
This onsite Human Resources Manager oversees personnel and the operations of the department, serving as a strategic partner to the Executive team. The Human Resources Manager will serve as the link between management and staff, assisting in maintaining a Championship culture within the organization that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance. The Human Resources Manager will develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall organization’s vision and mission.

Primary Responsibilities:
Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff.
Conduct timely performance reviews across departments.
Research compensation standards, creating salary structures.
Manage employee benefit enrollments including health, dental and vision insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, and any unemployment, disability or worker’s compensation claims.
Lead the review, analysis and selection of benefit plans and the coordination of annual benefits meetings with staff.
Lead process for off-boarding employees, overseeing exit interviews and procedures.
Conduct new-employee orientations for policies, procedures, systems, and office protocols.
Support managers in the development of job descriptions, training plans and plans for professional development.
Take a leadership role in the planning and implementation of staff meetings, trainings and retreats.
Implement strategies to maintain a championship culture and enhance staff morale.
Identify or create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Mediate and suggest solutions to employee disputes, investigate employee complaints
Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, and terminations.
Update and maintain the Employee Handbook, including making sure policies and practices are compliant with current laws and regulations, maintaining alignment with the organization’s vision,
mission and values.
Enforce agency’s policies, procedures and practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, Masters degree preferred.
A minimum of five years of increasingly responsible human resources experience.
