Supervising Social Worker

This role is responsible for the proper administration and oversight of the organization’s safe house model, providing support to women returning home from jail or prison. The Housing Coordinator ensures safe and stable housing, fosters opportunities to re-establish community connections, and creates an environment where participants can heal from trauma and transform their lives.

LCSW Program Manager

A New Way of Life (ANWOL) is seeking a dynamic and experienced LCSW Program Manager to lead and support our growing team of social workers and social work interns across multiple programs, including housing and family reunification. This supervisory management role requires a clinically licensed professional with strong leadership, program oversight, and supervisory skills. The LCSW Program Manager will provide clinical supervision (individual/triadic and group) to MSW associates pursuing licensure, coordinate and supervise the MSW/BSW internship program, and serve as liaison to university partners. The ideal candidate will bring a commitment to restorative reentry, trauma-informed practice, and social justice, and have experience in delivering high-quality behavioral health services in community-based settings.

Managing Attorney, Legal Services & Family Reunification

The Managing Attorney will lead the Legal and Family Reunification Departments at A New Way of Life Reentry Project (ANWOL), overseeing legal services, advocacy, and policy efforts to support reentry and family reunification for justice-impacted individuals. This role involves managing a team of attorneys and support staff, directing litigation efforts, and fostering strategic partnerships with courts, community organizations, and policymakers. This is a hands-on position and requires carrying a caseload.

Credible Messenger – SAFE Healing Center

The Credible Messenger (CM) is a frontline, relationship-centered role responsible for providing consistent mentorship, support, and guidance to residents of the Safe Healing Center. Credible Messengers draw from lived experience, cultural humility, and trauma-informed practice to build trust, model accountability, and support residents in achieving personal, educational, vocational, and behavioral goals. The Credible Messenger plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and healingcentered environment while reinforcing program expectations, restorative practices, and positive community norms

Credible Messenger – Overnight

The Overnight Credible Messenger (OCM) is a frontline, relationship-centered role responsible for maintaining safety, stability, and supportive presence during overnight hours at the Safe Healing Center. The Overnight Credible Messenger builds trust through consistency, lived experience, and trauma-informed practice while ensuring residents are supported, supervised, and safe during nighttime operations. This role emphasizes de-escalation, crisis response, emotional support, and environmental safety while reinforcing program expectations, accountability, and healing-centered values.

Cook - SAFE Healing Center

Responsible for all activities related to menu and meal planning, the procurement of food and supplies inventory. Responsible for the care and storage of such items, the meal preparation for the residents, and for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen.
