A Fresh Start

ANWOL offers free legal clinics to help people reduce, reclassify and/or expunge their criminal convictions. Our legal team works to protect the civil and employment rights of formerly incarcerated people by providing legal advice and representation, helping clients to seek relief under Prop. 47 & 64 or access occupational licensing.

These clinics are held in Watts on the second Saturday and in Long Beach on the fourth Saturday of each month. We also offer weekly “Walk-in Wednesday” office hours in Long Beach for Prop. 47 felony reductions. To register for one of our clinics, please contact 323-563-3575.

Prop 64

The California Marijuana Legalization Initiative passed in November 2016, making recreational marijuana legal — and allowing many prior marijuana convictions to be reduced or dismissed.

Call our office at 323-563-3575 to find out whether you’re eligible for relief under either of these propositions.
